InovCares is a comprehensive telehealth platform that aims to empower women of color and offer them a tool to achieve optimal health outcomes in collaboration with their healthcare provider. The core feature of the platform is the Telehealth experience, which includes video chat, phone calls, text messaging, and voicemail. In addition, it provides integrated prescription delivery services for convenient medication ordering and direct home delivery. The app also serves to keep users informed to enhance compliance and safety.

InovCares is committed to ensuring that all women have access to high-quality and affordable care. Recognizing the alarming statistic that 500,000 women aged 15 to 49 die annually from pregnancy-related complications, with two-thirds of these deaths preventable, the team at InovCares is dedicated to addressing this disparity through culturally competent and compassionate care.

To support users in achieving better health outcomes, InovCares utilizes advanced technologies such as smartphone cameras and NASA technology integration to create a personalized 3D model based on photos or videos. This model generates a unique Health Risk Report, enabling users to monitor key health risks and chronic conditions proactively. By identifying potential health issues early on, individuals are guided towards making positive lifestyle changes before minor symptoms escalate into serious risks.

InovCares also incentivizes healthy behaviors by gamifying lifestyle choices and offering rewards for improvements in key health metrics. All collected data is promptly shared with the user’s care team, ensuring seamless coordination with healthcare providers for optimized care. Additionally, users can set fitness goals using Healthkit to track their physical activities.

Founder and CEO Mohamed Kamara established InovCares Connected Comprehensive Healthcare, LLC, driven by personal tragedy after losing his sister and aunt to preventable preeclampsia complications.
